i wish it was just a joke! I mean i poke fun at it sometimes because having a sense of humor about it makes me feel better personally but i do have a shitty chronic illness that makes me feel dizzy and sick a lot and i only just figured out what it was specifically a few months ago u_u thankfully i also figured out ways to keep it sort of under control. but it sucks!!! im extremely envious of healthy people who don’t have to plan their days around whether or not they feel nauseated and like all their energy is fading away. embrace ur healthiness

i think a lot of people in the anime community don’t really understand, or think about the meaning behind the term and what it’s rooted in because they seem to throw it around like it’s just another cute anime word : / The whole term is based around the bigoted idea that trans women “trick” people, that they aren’t “real” girls, that they’re just trying to “trap” someone into being gay or whatever. It’s really shitty and I wish people would stop using it all the time. But of course when I tell people to stop saying it they go “but it’s juuust a woooord  uueueuhghghhghehhhhhh xD” if only those people could just grow up a lil and realize that words have power and can really hurt people..but i guess using dumb internet slang is more important than being decent to ppl
